- What are the trading cards specifications?All of our cards are printed on top quality, rigid 16-point coated 2 sided (C2S) card stock and are finished at 2.5"x3.5" with a glossy liquid laminate UV coating that is “autograph friendly”.
- How much text and statistical information can I fit on the trading card?Only about 170 words will fit on the card. More text and stats can fit onto the card, but the font will start to get too small and affect the overall look of the card. Feel free to upload longer bios, the entire bio will be posted online but the text for the card will be shortened.
- Can I design my own trading card and submit the files?Currently MiCardz handles all cards design but you may contact us for consideration.
- How should I supply the photographs? What types of photos work best?We accept digital photos which you can email to photo@micardz.com. We recommend 300dpi and larger than 3” x 5” in the following formats; jpg, tiff, and psd files.
- How should I supply the bio and fun facts information?Just click the Sign Up button.
- Can I send professionally taken photographs?Most professional photographers' protect their pictures with copyrights. You must obtain written permission in advance. MiCardz is not responsible for researching the copyrights of any photographs you send and will not be held legally responsible for any copyright infringement.
- Can you crop photographs?Yes, we will crop your photograph so it will best fit in your trading card. You will be able to proof your card via a pdf sent to you in an email before printing.
- Can you touch up photographs?Our design team will provide limited photo touch up services at no extra charge. We will do our best to color correct photos. Additional requested changes will be charged at the current hourly rate of $50/hr, 1 hour minimum.
